There are big ships and small ships. But the best ship of all is friendship. -Author Unknown

Words, magical things that transport you to magical lands, they evoke emotions, they bring you on adventures. Books are like places that we can seek solace in, to just forget about everything that is happening around you and just get swallowed into realms where vampires and werewolves exist, think twilight, or dragons and urgals, think Eragon. Or even just learning about life itself, how people act around each other, relationships, friendships, blood ties. How people care for their loved ones, how in stories we can actually learn valuable lessons that relate to life. A book may seem a friend when you're lonely, when you have no one to talk to, the characters in a book may "talk" to you.
Think songs, how people pour their hearts and souls into every single word in the lyrics, every single note in a melody. How a song documents one's trials and tribulations in life, or happy memories or even happy feelings. Have you ever felt how a song can help you cheer up on a sad day? How it would help you vent your anger just by listening to it? Have you ever felt that there was more to a song than just words and melody, maybe how it was sang, or who it was sung by? It would be unusual if the beatles played heavy metal wouldn't it? Songs do sometimes evoke feelings, happiness, sadness or even anger. Songs add colour to everything we do, could you imagine life without songs? Wouldn't that be boring.
Words, little words of encouragement, from teachers, friends and even family always helps us to persevere. How would it feel if, for example, you failed a test, but your parents tell you that its alright, to do your best next time? It makes you feel good huh. Or maybe you've always wanted to ride a bike, but you keep falling down. Wouldn't it make you feel better when someone tells you you're doing great, and to keep on going?
Songs really do show the emotions of the singer,
Isn't it touching? To see a person sing his heart out to show how much he loves his wife?
Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me. Think again.
