And I'd give up forever to touch you
'Cause I know that you feel me somehow
You're the closest to heaven that I'll ever be
And I don't want to go home right now
And all I can taste is this moment
And all I can breathe is your life
'Cause sooner or later it's over
I just don't want to miss you tonight
And I don't want the world to see me
'Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming
Or the moment of truth in your lies
When everything feels like the movies
Yeah you bleed just to know you're alive
And I don't want the world to see me
'Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
And I don't want the world to see me
'Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
And I don't want the world to see me
'Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
I just want you to know who I am
I just want you to know who I am
I just want you to know who I am

How much do we know of each other?
How much would we want to know?
We always think we know everyone, but is that the "real" him? Or is it just his facade?
Is life really all about acting? To put up a brave front in front of people? Or is it about letting your guard down and really caring for everyone that you love, friends and family. When was the last time you said something from the bottom of your heart? When was the last time you showed care and concern for the people around you? A little gesture, like a simple 'thank you' or even a 'how are you?', can make a world of a difference. Let people love you for who you are, and not for that facade that you put up.
I still remember a passage I read once, the gist was for people to slow down, to appreciate all the things that are going on around them. Have you felt the care and concern your parents have showed you? Offering to cook lunch or to help you with your work? Have you noticed the way they always encourage you, to tell you to carry on? And many a times we take them for granted; every time they remind us to study, we take them as being naggy. Every time we fail our tests or exams, they tell us to put in more effort, to continue to strive for the better, and again, we say that they are naggy. A little appreciation, a little 'thank you' or even a hug could make their days. What are you waiting for? Go up to your parents and show your appreciation!
Have you ever stopped what you're doing and just looked around? Its a really amazing experience, looking at the things you would have most probably missed if you continued walking? Like an amazing sunset, watching the sky turn colours, from the brightest orange to hot pink to a cool violet, these things you can only do when you slow down and look at them. The best photographs are the ones where the photographer is at the right place, at the right time and given the right conditions. Slowing down, waiting for the perfect moment before you press the shutter. In life, we should appreciate everything that everyone is doing for you, I might sound like a broken recorder, but thats how we stay positive, to be happy about the little things in life, a compliment from a friend, an extra scoop of ice cream from the ice cream man or finding a dollar on the floor. If we appreciate these little things in life, the world would seem like a better place.
Nobody really cares if you're miserable, so you might as well be happy. ~Cynthia Nelms
